Hoshi is a digital artist and designer currently based in the UK. She graduated with a BSc in Multimedia Technology and Design, and has since continued her studies independantly in Illustration, Fashion Design and Product Design. She now works as a freelancer and runs a fashion and art brand, HoshiCandy, as an online and pop-up shop.

 

Inspired heavily by Japanese 'kawaii' culture and fashion, the main theme found in Hoshi's work is childish-cuteness. She believes that the things we associate with childhood are too special to let go of, and that adulthood is better with sweetness. Her goal with her work is to heal, soothe and inspire.
